HHLTA – Victoria Drive Primary Pupil Referral Unit is part of Wandsworth’s Primary Inclusion Service. The main purpose of Victoria Drive Primary Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) is to provide high quality education to pupils from mainstream Wandsworth primary schools, all of whom have Social, Emotional & Mental Health Difficulties (SEMHD) and learning needs.
A key strand of the policy and practice of behaviour management at Victoria Drive PRU is to work collaboratively with Wandsworth primary school practitioners to support pupils with SEMHD to access education and become happy learners. Staff in schools are encouraged to use the PRU’s ethos to understand and respond to pupils’ SEMH needs. This involves a close partnership and a Team Around the Child (TAC) approach.
This Service also offers full time education to any pupil who is a Wandsworth resident and has been permanently excluded from their primary school.
